Episode 10 of season 5 of the hit TV show "Suits" had a jaw-dropping ending as Mike Ross gets arrested for conspiracy to commit fraud. Fans may have already expected that this would happen at some point but what is mind boggling is the whistle-blower who led to Mike's arrest. According to Design and Trend, there are five possible characters behind the arrest.
The first one on the list is Father Sam Walker. The possibility of the priest going to the authorities right after Mike Ross confesses about his fraudulent life is not farfetched. The rules of confessions may forbid the priest to go to the police but that doesn't mean he would not do so especially if he is concerned about helping Mike do the right thing.
Surprisingly, second on the line is Jenny Griffith who is Mike's bitter ex-girlfriend. They broke up when she found out Mike has feelings for Rachel. There was a scene wherein the former drug dealer Trevor told childhood friend Mike that he could not come to his wedding (to Rachel Zane) even if he wanted to. Trevor has also told Mike that his wife had forbidden him to meet Mike after he has promised to leave his wrongful past behind. While Trevor's wife was not clearly named, viewers are assuming that he is married to Jenny and turning Mike in would be her sweet revenge.
Third is Robert Zane who has all the right reasons to keep her daughter Rachel from marrying a fraud. A possible angle is that Rachel's mother, Laura, may have told Robert why Rachel is hesitant about the size of their wedding. Robert then could have done a background check and turned Mike in after he found out Mike's dirty secret.
Daniel Hardman is another possibility. He is hell-bent on bringing Jessica, Harvey and Louis down and may have found that the best way to do is by exposing Mike's fraud.
Let's not forget, Lola Jensen, the biologist at Columbia University from season 1, who put Mike's name on the Harvard Law School alumni database and got Mike a real Harvard Diploma. It would be possible for Lola to get caught and to spare herself, she could have chosen to give up Mike.
