"Fifty Shades Darker" star Dakota Johnson recently spoke about the upcoming "Fifty Shades of Grey" sequel.
In an interview with Ellen DeGeneres on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show," Johnson revealed how much her life has changed ever since she played the role of Anastasia Steele in the franchise.
However, Johnson said that not all of the changes have been positive. There were several times when she would feel awkward when talking to people who have seen her play the role of Anastasia Steele.
Meanwhile, Johnson also revealed that her parents have not yet seen "Fifty Shades of Grey." She added that it seems that their entire family doesn't have plans to watch the movies because of the sensitive scenes.
In other news, Johnson revealed that she's no longer dating Matthew Hitt. She also denied that she's in a relationship with actor Jake Gyllenhaal.
According to Hollywood Life, Johnson and Gyllenhaal have been dating for a couple of months, and were recently spotted attending various events.
"Jake and Dakota were accompanied at their table by different people throughout the night - including the owner of the bar that's so inaccessible to the public that it doesn't have a name. They left the venue through separate exits, Johnson out the front, and Gyllenhaal via a back door," a source told the publication.
"Fifty Shades Darker" will continue to chronicle the life of Anastasia and Christian Grey (Jamie Dornan), and how they will cope with the new challenges that will come their way.
A slew of new characters will also be introduced on the show, namely, Jack Hyde, Mrs. Robinson and Leila Williams. As of late, none of these characters has been cast by Universal Pictures and book author E.L. James.
"Fifty Shades Darker" is slated to hit theaters in the United States on Feb. 10, 2017.
