"Orange is the New Black" star Taryn Manning recently hinted on the possibility that Britney Spears will guest star on the Netflix series.
In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Manning said that she's very hopeful Jenji Kohan will consider inviting Spears to appear on the show.
Manning and Spears previously worked together on the film "Crossroads." According to the former, Spears will be a great addition to the Netflix series because she can easily adjust to whatever role is thrown her way. Additionally, Manning gushed over Spears and said that she's a really great actress, who is also very sincere with her craft.
"Um, I mean, I don't have to make up a character - she's such a good actor that I feel like they could do anything with her. I was so impressed working with her and I was like - she's just very sincere in her acting, you know? It's like everyone wanted to maybe hope that she's not gonna be good but she was great," she said.
Meanwhile, although it is still unclear whether or not the "Toxic" singer will appear on "Orange is the New Black" Season 4, her fans could see her on The CW series "Jane the Virgin."
According to International Business Times, Spears will appear in the second episode of "Jane the Virgin" Season 2 and will play the role of Rogelio's nemesis.
