Tina Fey, Seth MacFarlane Both Say 'No way' to Hosting Oscars in 2014

Tina Fey has shared her sentiment at the possibility of hosting next year's Academy Awards, and loud and clear, it's a "no way!" The former "30 Rock" star, head writer and executive producer attracted rave reviews when she co-hosted the Golden Globes with Amy Poehler in January, leading to eventual comparisons with Seth MacFarlane, who hosted the Academy Awards on Sunday who didn't receive such stellar reviews.

In an interview with The Huffington Post, the Tina Fey, 42, said she "had fun" co-hosting the Golden Globes, but she wouldn't want to take on the Oscars.

"I just feel like that gig is so hard. Especially for, like, a woman - the amount of months that would be spent trying on dresses alone ... No way," she said.

When pressed to say there might be a "one in a million chance," the former "Saturday Night Live" star wouldn't even budge.

"I wish I could tell you there was," she said.

Seth MacFarlane also shared Fey's sentiment at the possibility of making a comeback as the star studded award events host.

"No way. Lotta fun to have done it, though," he tweeted on Tuesday when asked about a reprise.

This year's Academy Awards did rake in its highest viewing ratings in years, but that isn't enough to bring MacFarlane back next year.

"The Oscars is basically the Kobayashi Maru test," he later added, referencing the unwinnable training exam given at "Star Trek's" Starfleet Academy.
