Michelle Williams split from Jason Segel after a year, and the actress continued as professional as ever by stepping out in front of the cameras and did not look heartbroken at all.
Williams and "How I Met Your Mother" star Segel kept their relationship low-key and were often spotted together doing "normal" family things with Williams' 7-year-old daughter, Matilda. Williams had a relationship with the late Heath Ledger, her "Brokeback Mountain" co-star and father to her daughter.
Since then Jason has developed a strong relationship with Matilda. Jason was the first man that actress was publicly seen dating since Heath died of a drugs overdose in 2008 - five months after they had separated.
According to People magazine, the couple's split was fueled by distance. Williams primarily lives in New York with her young daughter Matilda, while Segel resides in Los Angeles, where his show is filmed.
Williams, 32, joined co-stars Mila Kunis and James Franco at the Moscow premiere of their movie, the "Oz the Great and Powerful," in a stunning black, tiered mini dress, according to a Us Weekly report.
During a recent interview with the March issue of Instyle, she spoke to the magazine earlier this month about her relationship before splitting from Segel.
"If people are happy about it that makes me feel good ... Any kind sentiment that the world can feed back, well, I won't turn it down."
