Melissa King, who was crowned Miss Delaware Teen USA last November, has resigned after allegations that a porn video of her has surfaced on the internet.
King previously denying any such video existed, but on Tuesday the 18-year-old beauty officially gave up her crown. The "amateur" porn video was posted online on the New York Post website and features a woman who looks and sounds like her. The full amateur Melissa King video was posted on a porn website called "Girls Do Porn."
The women in the video tells an off-camera interviewer that she participates in beauty pageants but likes sex and is participating in the porn video because she needs the money. According to Delaware Online, Melissa King denies that she is the woman in the video.
A representative for the pageant told TMZ that they have already reached out to the first runner-up Hailey Lawler in order to replace King.
On Sunday, Melissa posted this message on her Facebook page: 'A year ago almost, I turned 18.
I'm about to turn 19 and so much has changed for the better in my life in the past year... Nothing can bring me down:)'
