The finale of "Bachelor In Paradise" was a big fuzz. All the drama, fights, crying scenes, getting dumped, heartaches are now over as the reality show ended. But its finale night left the Bachelor Nation a big bang with Jade Roper and Tanner Tolbert's engagement.
According to Huffington Post, Jade and Roper, they dated the entire summer and during the "Bachelor In Paradise" finale, Tanner got down on one knee and asked Jade to marry him; she said "Yes." It shows how happy the couple are since they are "all smiles" while celebrating at the beach. The two gave "After Paradise" hosts Chris Harrison and Jenny Mollen a quick interview and shared that "their relationship is better than ever."
Jade said, "We don't want to have a long engagement, so ..."
However, the bigger fuzz about Roper and Tolbert's engagement is revealed by Celeb Dirty Laundry. According to CDL, Jade and Tanner were paid a minimum of $88,000 for them to stay together for two years.
When a couple gets engaged, they are given a Neil Lane engagement ring. This is the ring used once you popped out the big question. Along with it, the jeweler gets to appear on the ABC TV show having free advertisement. Tanner and Jade also mentioned that they get to keep the ring. But if they will not last together for two years, then they would have to give it back to the jeweler.
The Inquisitr reported that if Jade and Tanner will finally get married then she will be able to keep the Neil Lane ring worth $88,000 in her finger. It is a two-carat ring with an emerald-cut diamond surrounded by 12 smaller round diamonds.
TheAshleysRealityRoundup revealed that TMZ caught up with the couple while leaving The Ivy and Jade talked about her engagement ring saying that it was not Tanner who bought it but it was ABC. "ABC owns it for two years, and after that, if we're still together, we keep it... Or until we get married," said Jade.
