Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have six kids, and they are reportedly planning to adopt another child, a Syrian boy. Reports have it that the actress and the United Nations High Commisioner on Refugees was moved by the thought of many homeless and orphaned children in the war-torn-country.
Soon after meeting three kids who witnessed how the Syrian soldiers took their father, bombed their home and lost their mother, Jolie reportedly didn't have second thoughts on adopting them. The three kids are brothers, and the middle child could speak some English. The oldest was shy but had always been with Angelina throughout the trip. However, upon Angelina's return to the U.S. and talking to her husband, Pitt apparently said that it's not a wise decision to take the three children, considering that they already have six kids, Movie News Guide reports.
"Angie wanted to adopt all three, but when she got back to the United States and told Brad about it, he said no," the source told Radar Online. "Going from six children to nine was just way too much, and Brad was concerned about how it would impact their other kids. But Angie didn't put up a fight. She knew it just wouldn't work."
Another insider told Express that it's the right time for Angelina and Brad to add another child to their brood of six since she had already sorted out her health issues. In March, the 40-year-old "Maleficient" director had a surgery to remove her Fallopian tubes and ovaries. She also had a double mastectomy a year back after learning that she carries a gene mutation that has higher risk of developing breast and ovarian cancers.
Meanwhile, other reports claim that both Jolie and Pitt are looking forward to adopt a Syrian child legally. Although they are both busy with their careers, it is something that will reportedly make her very happy. After Jolie's 40th birthday and attaining a good state of health, seeing a new face in her family will reportedly definitely overwhelm the humanitarian.
Jolie and Pitt's kids include their biological children, Shiloh, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 8, and adopted Maddox,13 from Cambodia, Pax, 11 from Vietnam, and Ethiopian Zahara, 10.
