Zeta Graff's Bel-Air compound has been listed on the market since April for $8,880,000, but she didn't find a buyer. And now, she wants it rented for a mere $35,000 a month.
A jewelry designer and actress, Zeta Graff is Graff Diamond's heiress who played the velvet-clad Princess Achen in "The Fifth Element.'' The actress-designer bought the house for $4.4 million in 2004, according to The Wall Street Journal. She's leaving the house for a lucky renter as she is now on her way to move to New York.
Realtor said that Graff's four-bedroom contemporary home was designed by Los Angeles architect Zoltan Pali. It features 30-foot ceilings and full-length windows overlooking reservoirs and canyons. The two separate buildings in the compound are linked by a sky bridge made of steel, wood, and glass. The house features an enormous master bath with shower room for two and a spout on each end, as well as large countertops for his and her sinks.
The compound is a perfect place to unwind after a busy L.A. day.
As Zeta Graff hasn't found a buyer yet for her Bel-Air property which was listed at $8.8 million, the actress and diamond heiress is instead renting it out for $35,000 a month.
Set on more than a half acre, the compound has actually two structures that are beautifully connected by a glassed-in sky bridge. Built in 2003, the house also features 15-foot doors, walls of glass, and large windows that take a picturesque views of the mountain, canyon, and reservoirs around it.
According to the report of Sun Sentinel, the main building of the compound contains an open-plan kitchen with a center island, a sitting area/media room, a formal dining room, and the master suite above. The second building has three bedroom suites, an office and a laundry room.
Public records show that the property was purchased in 2004 for $4.4 million.
