Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck parted ways three months back, but their closeness these past few days has stirred speculations on whether they're rekindling their romance or not. On Sunday, the amicable former couple was together running errands at the farmers market in L.A.'s Pacific Palisades.
Jennifer and Ben were smiling all throughout the recent outing. They were spotted together with their three kids, Violet, 9, Seraphina, 6, and Samuel, 3.
People apparently raised eyebrows upon seeing the ex-pair together again as they visited several stands in the market. They reportedly seemed so happy, and no trace of predicament was seen on their faces. Sources revealed that they have successfully shown a united front for their kids despite their controversial nanny drama a few months back, Us Weekly reports.
Some insiders also revealed that Jennifer just came to a point where she has been more accepting of their divorce. Aside from that, Ben reportedly wants her to be truly happy.
"[Garner's] priority is shielding the kids as much as possible," a source close to Jennifer told the site. "She just wants to move forward and make everything happy and normal. These are happy kids, with lots of love and positive experiences."
Meanwhile, on Sunday night, Jennifer and Ben were seen together again, and this time, they were out on a dinner date with some family members. Reports have it that they arrived and left Nobu in Malibu, California together. They stayed at the Sushi restaurant for three hours.
According to some sources, the former couple was not seen intimate, but it seemed they were having a good time. The "Batman" star remained gentleman as ever as he opened the door for the Golden Globe-winning actress, Entertainment Online reports.
Jennifer and Ben sparked reconciliation rumors when they were seen together after a two-hour therapy session. The 43-year-old actor had previously dismissed claims that he had an affair with their former nanny, Christine Ouzounian. He said that the cheating rumors are completely "garbage."
Meanwhile, a source said that reconciliation is not in the works for the Ben and Jennifer. "There is no reconciliation. They are working with a professional because there are emotions involved and they want to make this transition as easy as possible for their family," a source told People.
