Software giant Microsoft on Wednesday has announced the official release date of the new Xbox One Elite Controller. The new controller will arrive in retail stores on October 27 and will be sold for $150.
The release date of Microsoft's new controller also coincides with "Halo 5: Guardians'" release date, a report from Gamespot said.
"The Xbox One Elite controller, which also works on PC, is more than twice as expensive as the standard unit. For the premium price, you get a first-of-its-kind Xbox controller that features interchangeable rear paddles and hair trigger locks. It also lets you adjust the trigger minimum and maximum values, thumbstick sensitivity, and button assignments. In short, you can assign any of the controller's 14 different inputs to the ABXY buttons, paddles, D-pad, triggers, and thumbstick clicks," the report said.
Gazette Review reports that the company has actually released a video footage which shows how the new Xbox One Elite Controller works. It can be recalled that Microsoft has previously announced the lineup of games that are playable in the current-generation console and Xbox 360.
"The confirmation of the controller's release is not the only good news for the Xbox One today. Microsoft just announced this week's lineup for its current console and Xbox 360. Meanwhile, Gadgets NDTV has also reported that Microsoft is planning to launch an Elite Bundle. The bundle will be released on November 3, which will be sold for $499. It was said that the bundle consists both Elite controller and Xbox console, which features a 1 TB solid state hybrid drive.
