John Legend Buys Bigger Condo in Little Italy, New York

Grammy-award winning singer John Legend has grabbed a loft-like property for around $2.5 million in the Little Italy area of Manhattan, New York.

Legend doesn't really have any real estate problems. He recently sold his East Village condo in New York for $2.6 million. His listed condo sold just within two months of its listing, that too for a profit of $775,000.

According to the Real Estalker, Legend purchased the little Italy condo located at the Brewster Carriage House building in New York before he sold the East Village Condo. The 1,969 square feet home comprises of 1 bedroom and 2.5 bathrooms. The residence has big black rimmed glass windows and features white oak floors. The entrance opens into the spacious living room. The master bedroom opens up directly from the living room. The residence has a fairly modern kitchen and also has a small reading nook.

When not selling and buying homes, Legend is usually writing up Grammy-winning songs or planning album releases. Legend announced earlier this month that he will be releasing his first single from his untitled studio album.

Legend wrote the song "Who Did That to You" which featured in the Oscar-nominated movie "Django Unchained". Christopher Waltz won the Oscar for Best Supporting Actor in the movie.

In an interview at the first look of "Django Unchained" Legend and ace actor Jamie Foxx were seen sharing some light moments.
