"NCIS" Season 13 is coming soon and fans will be greeted by a new Gibbs as well as changes for all the characters of the show. The series is also tagged as the most watched show in the world despite the massive following of shows like "Game of Thrones" and "The Walking Dead."
"NCIS" is coming back for the 13th time and things get more complicated for Gibbs and his crew. In the last episode of season 12, Gibbs did survive the shooting but it will not be without repercussions both for him and the "NCIS" team he leads. According to TV Guide, Gibbs' near death experience will certainly affect him physically, psychologically, and the way he will run his unit.
On the other hand, Tony DiNozzo will make good use of Gibbs' absence to make a mark as interim leader of "NCIS" in handling the case of the terror group "The Calling." But things will be rough between him and his boss as showrunner Gary Glasberg revealed in an interview, "There's absolutely some conflict. There's issues that have to get worked out between team members, very specifically between Tony and Gibbs."
Other members of the team will have their own issues to resolve but a character will be back -- Vance. With Gibbs out, and things are not right between Tony and the boss, Vance will be forced to leave his desk and go back to being a field agent again.
Meanwhile, in a report by Mashable, "NCIS" has been given the crown "The World's Most Watched Show" and the numbers really show the fact. In the last six seasons of the crime drame series, it has proven it can go head to head in viewership compared to "GoT" and "The Walking Dead." However, the show's viewership worldwide really takes the cake; in 2014, they had 55 million and is licensed to over 200 countries. "NCIS" is also translated in more than 60 languages.
