Benji Madden Drops $1 Million on Hollywood Hills Bungalow

American Rock band Good Charlotte guitarist, Benji Madden, has reportedly dropped a good $1.1 million on a rustic tree-house-type bungalow in Hollywood Hills, California. Benji purchased the home earlier in February, just 192 days after it was listed on the open market.

The residence spreads across an area of 2183 square feet and consists of three bedrooms and three bathrooms. Sitting on a 25,000 square feet lot in the Canyon hills region, the home looks like a "tree-house" because it literally sports hardwood everywhere, right from hardwood floors and beams to hardwood dressers and cabinets.

As pictured in the photos at TMZ, the home has a forest-cabin look to it. Surrounded by lush vegetation, the home has wooden fencing all around the property. Large glass windows light up all the rooms in the place. The living room has a stone fireplace while a formal dining area also exists in the home. The bathrooms are done up with white square tiles and have separate shower areas. They also have huge built in double-cabinets. Parking space information is not yet available.

Recently, Benji and twin and equally tattooed brother, Joel Madden, were in Australia. They somehow seemed to have disappeared off the American Paparazzi surface only to emerge like glowing stars in Australian commercial TV campaigns.

Now faces of major retail brands like Vodafone and KFC, the Madden brothers must really be maddening the Aussie public, so much that MusicFeeds, a popular entertainment news website, has launched a campaign "Get the Madden Brother out of Australia".

While petitions are being signed to oust the brothers from Australia, Benji Madden will be performing with Aussie rock band, "Tonight Alive," in their new single titled "Breakdown," which is slated to premiere on March 12.
