Fourteen years after the famous couple, Sir Mick Jagger and model Jerry hall, split, the duo is squabbling over a property. According to The Evening Standard, Hall has been trying to push Jagger into transferring complete ownership of the legendary Downe House to her name.
Apparently, when Hall broke up with Jagger in 1999, it was assumed that the Rolling Stone legend had given her the property as part of the divorce deal. However, things have been unclear as property documents still have both their names on them, reports Telegraph.
"It is a source of increasing concern to her as she gets older. When she broke up with Mick in 1999, it was assumed that he had given Downe House to her as part of the settlement their lawyers thrashed out, but, to this day, his name as well as her's still appears on the official documents as the registered owners," a source close to Hall said to The Telegraph.
However, reportedly Jagger is reluctant about transferring complete ownership. Spokesperson for Jagger refused to comment on the matter claiming that the reasons were "confidential".
Jagger was living in a flat next door to the Downe House. Hall recently drove him out of the flat as having an ex-husband as a neighbor was proving harmful for her relationships. Currently, Jagger lives with present girlfriend, L'Wren Scott in Chelsea. He has a property portfolio valued at $247 million.
Hall lives in The Downe House with her four children and hopes that Jagger will eventually name her the sole owner of the property, reports Telegraph.
Hall was a famous model and adding the "Rolling Stones" music legacy to her name took her to new heights.
