In the new sneak peak video released by ABC, Annalise Keating (Viola Davis) gets an unexpected guest while lecturing her students in her home in the upcoming season of "How To Get Away With Murder."
It was earlier reported that "X-Men" and "Taken" star Famke Janssen will be joining the show. In the video featured in Variety, Janssen's character appeared, which made Annalise surprised. There is very little information about Janssen's character, but earlier reports revealed that she plays a defense lawyer who is very serious about her job.
Meanwhile, the showrunners promised fans that the premiere episode of Season 2 will surely start with a bang. After the mysterious death of Rebecca Sutter (Katie Findlay), fans are eagerly waiting to know who the real killer is.
In an earlier interview, showrunner Pete Nowalk revealed that they had originally no plans of killing Rebecca's character in the story. According to Latin Post, they wanted the characters to move on, that is why they have decided to reveal Rebecca's killer in the premiere episode of Season 2. Nowalk hinted that the revelation of Rebecca's killer will also generate new mysteries in the show. He assured fans that Rebecca's killer is both shocking and intriguing.
"How To Get Away with Murder" Season 1 became a smash hit with over 14 million viewers, while its lead star Viola Davis made history after winning Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama series at the recently held Emmy Awards. When asked how she felt about her character, Davis revealed that playing Annalise has given her a way to show her womanhood in a different way. She added that the show has given her a place to shine.
