Blake Shelton Rehab: ‘The Voice’ Coach Admits He Had a Weird Year; Slams Rehab Stint Controversies

Blake Shelton's rehab rumors continue to swirl online right after his split with his former wife, Miranda Lambert. In an interview, "The Voice" coach admitted that he had a weird year and shared that he has a tendency to drink whenever he's nervous.

Before he stepped on stage at the iHeartRadio festival in Las Vegas, Shelton gave an interview to People.

"It's been a weird year," he told reporters, "but at least I got my songs coming out."

According to Lambert's ex-husband, he was told that he will have to do a stint in iHeartRadio festival, and he agreed with it. He claimed he had no idea on what he's going to do at the event until he saw J. Lo performing.

The "Forever Young" singer continued the interview without mentioning details about his newly single life. However, he had been too honest when he claimed that he's drinking a lot after his split with Lambert, International Business Times reports.

"So then, I just want y'all to know, I got nervous and I'm still nervous right now, and when I get nervous I tend to drink a little bit, okay," he said, raising a red solo cup. "I'm just being honest with you."

This week, Shelton slammed rehab rumors that have been hurled at him. He wrote on his Twitter page, "Ha!!! I love this tweet!!!! Hey look I have cell service in rehab!!!!"

Since his high-profile breakup with the country rock star songstress, many speculated that he's spiraling downward. The "Honey Bee" singer has been seen drinking a lot, which fuelled more rehab rumors.

Meanwhile, Shelton's fans are also reportedly worried since the 39-year-old is getting slimmer. When he appeared in "America's Morning Show" with Blair Garner. The "God Gave Me You" crooner dished that he's shedding a lot of pounds not because of diet and gym but because of stress since he called it quits with Lambert, TMZ reports.
