Despite her situation, it seems like Hayley (Phoebe Tonkin) might leave Jackson (Nathan Parsons) to be with Elijah (Daniel Gillies) at some point in the upcoming season of "The Originals." In an earlier report, executive producer Julie Plec revealed that there is still hope for Hayley and Elijah to be reunited.
According to the EP, they have already planned the events in the relationship of the two characters; however, at the moment, they are just blocked by challenges and obstacles. One of these is Hayley being married to Jackson and another is her curse.
Plec revealed that this is not the end for the couple and that no matter how Hayley and Jackson find happiness in their marriage, it seems like that they just can't, considering Elijah is just around the corner.
Meanwhile, it was also earlier reported that the Mikaelsons are now in tension with each other after Klaus' (Joseph Morgan) decision to save his child in the Season 2 finale. According to Fashion & Style, their sister Freya (Riley Voelkel) will look for ways to help her siblings fix their relationship. It can be reclled that Elijah was furious with Klaus after he left Hayley to be cursed, and it was reported that Elijah still does not know if he can forgive his brother.
While the family is still figuring out how to fix their scarred relationship, according to the official synopsis featured by Wetpaint, an old vampire named Lucien (Andrew Lees) will be coming to New Orleans to cause trouble to the original family. The synopsis says that the mysterious vampire seems to have a hidden agenda upon coming into town, and Klaus will do everything to know what it is.
Meanwhile, the synopsis also revealed that Marcel (Charles Michael Davis) has now gained the French Quarter again, and he will reportedly try new strategies to recruit more vampires.
"The Originals" Season 3 will premiere on October 8.
