Chris Bosh once again proved that there is more to life than basketball for a seasoned NBA player like him. The NBA superstar, who was part of the reputable big three of the Miami heat including Dwayne Wade and LeBron James, revealed via bleacherreport that he is indeed a Harry Potter fan. In his recent interview with Bleacher Report host Adam Lefkoe, Chris Bosh was seen actively participating with a Harry Potter/ NBA sorting game. The game simply mimics the Sorting ceremony in J.K Rowling's Hogwarts, and this time around the Miami Heat star plays not as a power forward or center but as the sorting hat itself. On a video transcript from snitchseeker, Bosh sorted some NBA players to their respective Hogwarts Houses as seen below.
- Chris Paul (Los Angeles Clippers): Slytherin
- Stephen Curry (Golden State Warriors): Gryffindor
- LeBron James (Cleveland Cavaliers): Gryffindor
- Carmelo Anthony (New York Knicks): Ravenclaw
- Dwyane Wade (Miami Heat): Hufflepuff
The said interview of Chris Bosh did not just display his knowledge of Harry Potter, but it likewise showed the nerdy part of him. For those who know less of Chris Bosh you would be somehow shocked to learn that this 10× NBA All-Star is actually a member of National Honor Society in high school. As he revealed via complex saying that, "I just wanted to do well. It's something that I believed in. I'm competitive, and I was kind of competitive with grades, too."
Aside from being academically competitive and engrossed with Harry Potter, Bosh also has inclination for arts and films. For back in 2010, Chris Bosh also released a movie about himself called First Ink. And this movie can actually be purchased via amazon for only $18.
With such inclination towards films, there might be a chance that Bosh himself might star in a Harry Potter Sequel, like just he did with TV some series, 'Parks and Recreation and Law and Order'. Or he may even decide to recreate a Harry Potter film putting his fellow NBA players as lead characters, but of course leaving Mr. Potter's role for himself alone.
What do you think about Chris Bosh Hogwarts' House arrangements, are his fellow players suitable in the said houses? Or would you even watch a Harry Potter à la NBA? Feel free to share and comment below.
