"Dance Moms" star Maddie Ziegler recently revealed that she also auditioned to be part of Teen Vogue's Young Hollywood list for 2015. The 12-year-old dancer told her millions of followers on Instagram that her audition video for Teen Vogue was already posted on the publication's official website.
"Watch the cast of the @teenvogue Young Hollywood Portfolio during their audition tapes! If you want to see mine click the link in my bio. #TVYoungHollywood," she wrote alongside her 1960s-inspired photo.
In the clip, Ziegler could be seen dancing and showing off her skills in doing tap and pirouettes. At one point, Ziegler could also be seen walking and dancing on top of the counter table at the diner.
Meanwhile, there are some rumors that Ziegler will no longer return to the upcoming sixth season of "Dance Moms." During an interview with Entertainment Tonight, the professional dancer said that although she owes her fame to the Lifetime reality TV show, she also wants to pursue bigger things in the coming months and years.
Ziegler also talked about the kind of friendship she has with "Chandelier" singer and director Sia.
"She's literally the sweetest person ever. I feel like I'm just so comfortable with her every time I'm with her. I never feel like, 'Oh my God, I'm hanging out with a celebrity,'" she said.
"You would never guess she's a celebrity if you didn't actually know. She's the most humble person and so caring, and she like, cooks for me! She's such an amazing person," she added.
"Dance Moms" Season 6 will feature a slew of new young dancers. Coach Abby Lee Miller recently held auditions at her ALDC studio.
"Dance Moms" Season 6 will premiere on Lifetime sometime next year. Kalani Hilliker, Kendall Vertes and Nia Frazer have confirmed their return.
