Right on the heels of TMZ producer, Harvey Levin listing his home on Sunset Strip for $5.3 million, reality TV producer, Jonathan Karsh, has also decided to unload some real estate from his asset portfolio.
The producer of award winning shows like "My Flesh and Blood" and "Catfish: the TV Show", Karsh has listed his home in the neighborhood of Los Feliz, Los Angeles, with an asking price of just $1.25 million. Karsh and his wife purchased the property back in August 2005 for around $1.27 million.
According to the Real Estalker, the home is a double story residence built in 1931. Spread across an area of 2,275 square feet, the compact home consists of three bedrooms and 1.75 bathrooms.
A narrow driveway leads to an equally slender and tiled foyer that opens into a spacious living room. The formal living room has a stone fireplace and three large windows flanking the fireplace. The living room opens into the dining room. The home also has a reading nook with a mini gas fireplace. The kitchen is modestly modern with built-in cabinetry and a small eating area next to the counter. A laundry room completes the lower level of the property.
The upper level consists of the three beautiful bedrooms. The master suite is fitted with a luxury tiled bathroom that has a swanky soaking tub.
In the backyard, a wood planked sitting area provides fresh air and there is a small tree-shaded patch to go stretch the legs.
Karsh's short TV series, "Kid Nation," was quite popular and he won three Emmy awards for it. He produced as well as hosted the show. He made his directorial debut with "My Flesh and Blood" in 2003 for which he won the best director award in the Sundance Film Festival.
More recently, the season finale of "Catfish: the TV Show" was aired on MTV February 18.
