Beloved children's author Beverly Cleary home in Northeast Portland, Oregan, is up for sale, according to Zilllow.
Beverly Cleary has written more than 30 books for kids and young adults. The home that she lived in as a young girl is located at 3340 N.E. Hancock Street, Portland and is now on the market with a list price of $362,000. The house was built in 1910.
The listing can be viewed on Redfin. It's listed by Dwell Realty, which is holding an open house from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Tuesday.
According to the real estate agency that is listing the house, renters had most recently been occupying the home but have since moved out and the house is now vacant.
The house itself has three bedrooms, one bathroom, a kitchen nook and a backyard with a deck. It's been a rental house in recent years, said listing agent Tracy Hicks of Dwell Realty.
A 2009 story in The Oregonian recounted the role the house and the surrounding neighborhood played in her books.
