On Friday, new details about the "Persona 5" video game have been leaked via a massive collection of screenshots spotted in Famitsu, a popular Japanese gaming magazine. The screenshots apparently show a new playable character "Yusuke Kitagawa." It was said that the game's blue-haired artist new character uses the "Goemon Persona" who dons a fox mask and a tail, a report from Gamespot said.
Siliconera reports that Yusuke Kitagawa is actually the fifth party member for the "Persona 5." It was said that Kitagawa is an honor student at the Kosei Public High School. He studies an art course and is actually a live-in disciple of Madarame, a popular painter based in Japan.
"Yusuke had blue hair and gray eyes. He wears his school's uniform normally. It consists of a white blazer that has his fleur-de-lis-shaped school's emblem, black trousers and shoes. He was seen carrying several sliver keys in his pocket. His cat burglar outfit consists of a fox mask, black jacket and pants, white boots, light blue gloves, and a long white fox tail with two red stripes. Orphaned at a young age, he was found to have artistic talents. He eventually joins the Phantom Thieves of Hearts," Megametensei said, describing the character of Yusuke Kitagawa.
The game's screenshots which was posted by DualShockers also show other characters that will be featured in the game. Aside from the characters, avid fans and die-hard players will be able to see photos of gameplay and cutscenes of the game, which will give them an idea of what to expect from the title.
Recently, Atlus has announced that "Persona 5" is scheduled to be released in the summer of 2016 for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3.
"In the previous game, we wrote a story that involved having a justice group chase down a bad guy that could easily be feared by just about anyone. This time, it's about a group of high school students that are being 'chased' by unexpected occurrences due to the justice they believe in. We're writing [the story] to convey a thrilling everyday life in the shoes of these characters, that are as large as life, in this juvenile school setting," "Persona 5" director Katsura Hashino said as quoted by Gamespot, explaining the delayed release of the game.
