'LG V10' Specs, Release Date: New Teaser Shows How 'Cutting Edge' The New Device Will Be

The last trimester of the year is an ultimate favorite of tech giants to hold events and drop their announcements. As HTC and Google has set the end of their September for their events, LG has also scheduled October 1 for their own event in New York city.

LG is being expected to reveal full V10 phone details on their Oct. 1 NYC event. They even uploaded a new ad that adds more fuel to the fire about this V10 phone. The teaser that was uploaded to their Youtube channel is currently having errors when trying to view. But according to TechRadar, the video "shows a girl with short hair cutting through it to make a sharp edge in the style before it turns into the V10."

The teaser did not answer all sorts of questions that will resolve our curiosity. But it did give the viewers a glimpse at the camera lens and notification display. So far, all we have ever learned from LG V10 only came from leaks and rumors, so getting a glimpse from an official ad is a really good thing.

Previous reports about the "LG V10" suggested a lot about the phone's specifications. It was said that the new handset will have a good 5.7 inch QHD display and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 chipset. The RAM will be a satisfying 2 GB and the internal storage would be a sufficient 64 GB. The primary camera is 16 MP and the front camera is 5 MP. The battery will be removable and there will be a microSD slot.

Overall, the specs are not groundbreaking. In fact, it's quite similar to the previous model, the "LG G4." But the physical look may have all the difference we are searching for. The bigger display is already an interesting thing, considering that LG don't usually go for large phones. It has clearly been a while since LG gave us a bigger smartphone. So, set the date, October 1 it is. We're gonna find out more about this new "LG V10."
