"Scandal" Season 5 premiere made everyone feel excited and looking forward to the next episode. To recap, episode 1 entitled, "It's Time To Move On," ended with a shocker when Fitz (Tony Goldwyn) and Olivia (Kerry Washington) agreed to fix their relationship. While the two were getting cozy, someone on the White House took photos and leaked them to Sally Langston (Kate Burton), International Business Times reported.
With that, Fitz and Olivia will be dealing with this new drama by going separate ways which we will see on episode 2, entitled, "Yes."
The synopsis for "Scandal" Season 5 Episode 2 reveals that Olivia as well as her associates will take a short break from D.C. to work on a new case. This is also Olivia's way to get “away from the President” due to their leaked images.
While Olivia is putting distance between them for damage control, Fitz will be using his power to seek for the person responsible of leaking the footage to Sally Langston. Speculations say that it could be Elizabeth (Portia de Rossi) or Cyrus who might be taking revenge after getting fired.
Meanwhile, Abby (Darby Stanchfield), will receive “unexpected guidance from a master of damage control" as she struggle to "stay afloat with all the shenanigans going on in the White."
Jake (Scott Foley), former B613 agent, is also back as he was seen on the final moments of Season 5's episode 1.
Rumors about Huck (Guillermo Diaz)'s possible death on this season has been making rounds too because of many missed encounters same as last season's episode when Quinn had him at a gunpoint. In episode 2, Huck will try to handle the pressure as he goes back to work, Bustle reported.
“Scandal” Season 2, episode 2 will be on air on ABC, Thursday, Oct. 1 at 9 p.m. ET.
