Real estate agent, Stephen Brumme of Silver Spring Md., was caught stealing a woman's underwear from a home that was up for sale in Arlington, Virginia.
The owners of the home were out of town and had given the keys to Brumme to shop around for customers. Brumme checked into the house legally signing in as an agent to show the Ballston neighborhood home to two prospective customers. The 60-year-old agent entered the home well in advance before the customers arrived.
The owners placed surveillance cameras on their bedroom dresser, which captured Brume's "lingerie hunt." After the couple returned from the trip, they noticed some missing lingerie. They then checked the answering machine for messages and the camera for videos discovering the pilfering activities of Brumme.
The homeowner said that they were "creeped out" by the video.
The Arlington Police nabbed Brumme and charged him with burglary and possession of burglary tools. He was however, released on bail.
"His behavior leads us to believe there are additional victims," Dustin Sternbeck, Arlington County Police Department spokesman said to Arlington Now. "He went straight to the closet and the drawers. He knew exactly what he was looking for."
