The long wait is coming to an end. Fans of "Once Upon A Time" will have to wait for one more night and the much awaited season five of the TV show will return to ABC.
According to Inquisitr, season 5 of "Once Upon A Time" reportedly is the epic season, which is why fans are growing more and more impatient. One reason why fans are going crazy is because they are anticipating the Dark Swan, which reportedly is going to be in the spotlight for this upcoming season. The Dark Swan is said to be Emma's new persona after sacrificing herself for Regina in the previous season.
So the beginning of season 5 of "Once Upon A Time" will pick up from when Emma vanished. It will show Hook, Regina, and her family will try to find out her whereabouts. As the story progresses, Emma's family and friends will do what they can to prevent her transformation.
Adam Horowitz, the show's creator has been teasing majorly about Emma's dark side. According to TV Line, when he was asked about what kind of Dark One Emma is, he said, "She's a very motivated Dark One. There's a real driving force behind what she's doing and why, that we will unfurl. It's not like a rampant, uncontrollable evil that's been unleashed. Emma as a non-Dark One was a very smart person who did things for a reason, and I think that translates."
Furthermore besides Emma's dark side, there are other things fans can expect from season 5 of "Once Upon A Time." According to The Hollywood Reporter, Mulan and Ruby will come back to the show. Then the show reportedly will shed some light into Mulan's sexuality as her feelings for Aurora will be explored.
And speaking of relationships Horowitz had said, "We want the show to reflect the world as it is now. Whether that's going to be with any particular character, we're not going to say." The fans will have to watch the show to find out more.
"Once Upon A Time" Season 5 will air on ABC on Sept. 27.
