Model Trish Goff Becomes New York City Real Estate Agent

From the runway to New York City streets, Goff has transformed from the 1990s "It" girl on the catwalk to working in the real estate business, reported The New York Times.

"When I started making money, I immediately began buying property and fixing it up," Goff told The Times. "I was always searching for the next neighborhood. The first place I bought when I was 19. I found a huge loft on the Lower East Side, almost 3,500 square feet. I did it up, turned it over and sold it."

Goff, 36, who successfully completed the accelerated real estate program at New York University and became fully licensed, is now a real estate agent at Douglas Elliman, which is the fourth-largest real estate company in the country.

Working out of her Waverly Place West Village office, she provides her clients with history and understanding of the different neighborhoods in the Big Apple. Goff not only has the genetic makeup to attract attention, but uses her experiences as a long-time New York resident to cater to clients at a personal level. In her profile for Douglas Elliman, Goff said she has lived in the East Village, West Village, Lower East Side, TriBeCa, Financial District, and Brooklyn.

While Goff's transition is unconventional, it certainly paid off and its proving she can be the new "It" girl in real estate business.

According to The Times, she's accumulated many references as her clientele, garnered during her decades of working with the upscale fashion moguls.

When Goff made an exultant return to the runway for the Fall 2009 show after a two year hiatus, reported New York Magazine, runway veterans knew she would be the one to end the show with a bang in an Alex Wang design.

"Modeling wasn't necessarily what I was into," Goff told The Times. "It's something that you're genetically qualified to do. Occasionally girls would go on to become an editor or something, but they're few and far between."

Since joining the firm in 2012, Goff has sold a 1,325-square-foot condo in Chelsea's Jean Nouvel building for $2 million. In her latest listing, she's taken a Greenwich Village Townhouse going for $5.495 million.

Goff even sets up rentals; recently she found one for photographer and stylist agent Justinian Kfoury, who also founded Total Management.

While Goff hasn't completely lost her taste for fashion, she's maintaining her sense of style and sophistication when selling the trendiest homes in New York City.
