Hollywood couple Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta-Jones are having marriage problems again and this time Catherine's bipolar disorder is said to be the reason. There are reports coming out that the couple is fighting so badly and it could lead to divorce.
In a report made by Celebrity Dirty Laundry, Michael and Catherine had a huge fight at the recent U.S. Open in New York City. The couple took their 12-year-old daughter Carys Douglas at the said tennis tournament. However, the match between the celebrity husband and wife turned into an attraction compared to the game. It has been said that the couple "went to war in the stands."
CDL revealed that a source told the National Enquirer that "Catherine was goading him. She was laughing at him and Michael's face turned angry. You could feel the tension between them." The couple was said to be giving each other a silent treatment after their argument at the sports event.
Michael admitted in an interview, "It's a slippery slope, this bipolar stuff." It was just last June that Celebrity Dirty Laundry reported that "Catherine was caught non-stop smoking on a Manhattan staircase and looks like in a verge of breakdown." It has been said that her "marriage and career are both in crisis" because of her psychiatric condition.
In the July 6 edition of the National Enquirer, they revealed that "Catherine appeared haggard and miserable. She appeared at the end of her rope and is clearly battling a lot of issues!" And a week after that Manhattan incident Douglas took his wife on a trip to Israel and according to the tabloid' s insider, "Michael took Catherine with him and the kids because he didn't dare leave her home alone, unsupervised."
However, Gossip Cop was quick to correct the allegations of the fight between Douglas and Zeta-Jones that took place at the U.S. Open. One of the reps told Gossip Cop that there's "no truth to it." Gossip Cop also said that Michael's Facebook page is the best proof and tells the truth as he posted a happy photo of him with Catherine and their daughter saying, "I had the best time at the U.S. Open with these two beauties...An amazing match and day!"
