‘Blue Bloods’ Season 6 Episode 1 Recap: The Reagans Face Terror Threat in ‘Worst Case Scenario’

"Blue Bloods" season 6 opener finds Frank Reagan and his team worried about a terror attack on New York City.

The first episode of "Blue Bloods" season six named "Worst Case Scenario" opens with Frank and Henry watching news of a terror attack made in Israel. According to a review by Celeb Dirty Laundry, Frank gets worried that New York might be hit again. Things seem to be headed that way as a waitress named Lacey working in a strip club reports talking to a customer who was ranting about his last time on Earth and how he will be in heaven with 72 virgins; stuff she says reminded her of 9/11. James and Eddie were sent to investigate.

In the same recap, Danny and Maria encounter a man who was talking in a foreign language and they discover he is talking about a bomb going off in the city soon. The Reagans scramble to find the person responsible who the waitress Lacey points out in a security video as Stass, her client.

Meanwhile, Danny takes the foreign-speaking man named Naseem to the precinct and interrogated him. They soon located where the bombs are located but there was only two when Naseem said there were three. Danny thinks Naseem was part of the act to divert their attention from the third bomb. They try to revive one of the suspects named Samir and Danny tries to make him talk before being operated on. They discover where the bomb is including Stass who fights it out with Danny. The Reagans prevent the attack and Frank tells the media the shooting incident was not related to any terror attack.

According to TV Fanatic, "Blue Bloods" is back for its sixth season and the bond between the Reagans has never been stronger. The last scene of the pilot episode shows them having dinner together after a long day and they all agree that "ignorance is bliss" pertaining to the harrowing incident they have all just been a part of.
