Samsung Galaxy S7 vs iPhone 6S Features, Specs Comparison

Apple's "iPhone 6" and Samsung's Galaxy S7 are commonly compared in terms of features and specifications. iPhone 6S, together with a bigger version, iPhone 6S Plus, was recently launched but Samsung Galaxy S7 is rumored for release on the World Mobile Congress, which will be held on Feb. 22 2016, according to iDigital Times.

The new iPhone 6S has 2GB RAM with a rear camera of 12MP and 5MP front camera. The Galaxy S7 is said to be equipped with 4GB RAM that can be expanded to 6GB, depending on the user's preference. It will have a high-end 20-megapixel ISOCELL Camera.

iPhone 6S is considered the fastest phone to date since it is powered with Apple A9 processor, sporting the single chip technology. This feature will make it less prone to heating. Sold at £539 ($649) for the 16GB model, £619 ($749) for 64GB and £699 ($849) the 128GB, the 4.7-inch device comes with a 3D technology.

Meanwhile, rumors reveal that the 5.5-inch Samsung Galaxy S7 will be released in two variants, both would be featuring 4K display screen resolution and may also have a 2560 x 1440 ppi, which is higher than the current standards.

One of the Samsung Galaxy S7 version will run on Exynos 8890 processor, while the second model is equipped with new Snapdragon 820 unit. The Exynos 8890 processor was compared to those of current flagships including the iPhone 6s, Samsung Galaxy Note 5, and the iPhone 6. The Greekbench 3 results shows that the upcoming Galaxy S7 will greatly obliterate existing flagships.

It is further rumored that Samsung Galaxy S7 will house its own Samsung CPU core developed by Samsung Korean HQ. Said processor will be used for future devices of the flagship.

In addition, Samsung Galaxy 7 will be made from new magnesium alloy unibody which is stronger and lighter than aluminum while the current iPhone 6s is made from high-strength 7000 alloy aluminum.
