'Scream Queens' Spoilers: The Story Behind Chanel No.3's Earmuffs; Ariana Grande Not Yet Leaving

"Scream Queens" premiere features a funny and terrifying two-hour entertainment to its fans where we noticed Chanel Number 3 (Billie Lourd) wearing a pair of very fashionable earmuffs all throughout the scene. Fans are also wondering if it is the end of Ariana Grande's role in the series.

Lourd sporting the earmuffs created a buzz as fans wondered why she is wearing it. It is her way to pay homage to the iconic hairstyle of "Star Wars" character Princess Leia, which was played by her mom Carrie Fisher.

But series co-creator Brad Falchuk teased that Chanel #3's earmuffs mystery will be revealed as the season continues, something that the viewers need to follow in the season.

"There is a very specific reason why she wears them, and you find out in either episode six or seven," Falchuk told The Hollywood Reporter. "We find out why she wears the earmuffs, but it's not just fashion. It's necessity."

"The funny thing with that is that it didn't start as a necessity," Falchuk added. "It started as fun, and then once we had them and it looked great, it was like, 'Oh, we've got to give a good reason for it.' So we put that in there."

Meanwhile, Lourd said that wearing the earmuffs is no joke and she is excited for the viewers to know the back story behind Chanel #3's earmuffs.

"I wear them, like, 16 hours a day, and it is super-superhot in New Orleans. [So] it is uncomfortable for sure," 23-year-old Lourd said, according to Yahoo News. "I had one hairstyle where my hair was braided over the earmuffs so I couldn't take them off all day. I had to give myself a deep ear massage after. You know what it feels like? When you wear earphones on the plane for too long and your ears get stuck to your head and are sore. That's my life."

Lourd also revealed that at the beginning, she only have one pair. Now, there are about eight pairs since they've started bejeweling them and adding some lace and sparkles.

Meanwhile, the first hour of the last episode of "Scream Queens" looked as if Ariana Grande's character, Kappa minion Chanel No. 2 has ended. But Entertainment Weekly revealed that fans could stop mourning since she will be back in episode 6 and on more episodes.

Another character, Boone, who was thought dead following a fall under the Red Devil's knife, is still alive and will be exposed as working with the killer.

The girls of Kappa Kappa Tau will continue with the mission to find clues and solve the murders of their classmates and friends on episode 3, International Business Times reported. The search for the anonymous devil mask-wearing killer will push on the next episodes of the series.

"Scream Queens" episode, entitled "Chainsaw" will be aired on Fox TV on Sept. 29.

Synopsis for the episode says: "Chanel's [Emma Roberts] latest project is Hester [Lea Michele]; Chanel #3 has a confession to make; and Grace [Skyler Samuels] and Zayday [Keke Palmer] notice a startling connection between two fellow students. Meanwhile, Denise [Niecy Nash] goes gunning for a Kappa; Dean Munsch [Jamie Lee Curtis] appoints a new mascot; and Chad [Glen Powell] and Earl Grey [Lucien Laviscount] muster the fraternity to go on a witch hunt for the Red Devil."
