Super Bowl Champ Ray Lewis Lists Palm Beach Manse for $5 Million

Two- time super bowl winner and now ex-Baltimore Ravens Linebacker, Ray Lewis, has flipped his Palm Beach mansion in South Florida on the listing market with a cool asking price of $5 million.

According to the listing records, Lewis purchased the home back in April 2004 for around $5.2 million. The four story home is spread across an area of 6788 square feet sitting on a 0.25 acre lot. Built in 2001, the single family seven bedroom-nine bathroom mansion features Mediterranean style architecture.

The home has hardwood, tile and marble flooring with huge French doors and windows. The residence has large living rooms, formal dining rooms and spacious family rooms. Modern gourmet kitchens with a cook's island in one of them, a den/media room and a laundry room are some of its other features. The master suite has an attached luxury bathroom and walk-in closets as well. An elevator gives access to all the four floors of the residence.

Outside, the home has an infinity pool, an attached five-car parking, covered patios and balconies, an open deck and a cabana as well. Vast expanses of stretching greens with sprinklers offer exclusive views of the ocean. The home has an excellent security system as well.

Lewis marked the end of his illustrious NFL career by winning the final of Super Bowl 2013 against the San Francisco 49ers held on Sunday, Feb 3, 2013. The Palm Beach mansion listing does not come as a surprise as Lewis will now be moving to Bristol to work as an analyst for ESPN, reports Realtor.com.

For now, the player has his itinerary marked with a visit to Churchill Downs, Kentucky. Lewis will be presiding as the chief guest to speak at the "Race for Grace" event - a Derby time fundraising dinner for the Kentucky Race Track Chaplaincy. The fundraiser is slated to be held on Monday, April 29, 2013.
