"Blindspot" will be airing its second episode tonight and Agent Weller finds himself along with his mysterious ward in the hot seat as they try to solve the mysteries of Jane's tattoos and amnesia.
In the second episode of "Blindspot," Jane's memories are slowly coming back as she tries to make sense of the tattoos on her body. She and the handler tasked to look after her, Agent Weller, escaped the blast in episode one but the two of them will be taking the heat in the second installment called "A Stray Howl."
According to Christian Post, there will be an Air Force pilot with a sinister motive who will be revealed thanks to one of Jane's tattoos. And while Jane is trying to figure out her true identity, Weller is closer to finding out what and who this woman really is, left in the middle of Times Square inside a bag.
After the two emerge from the explosion with no major injury, Jane has a sudden flashback of a man who figures to be the person responsible for her amnesia. The man figures to be her only hope of knowing her true purpose and how she ended up with all those marks in her body. Weller, on the other hand, tries to figure out the motive for the bomb in the subway. He thanks Jane for saving his life but still harbors suspicions that it was her who was responsible for the explosion.
In a report by Movie News Guide, executive producer Martin Gero revealed that all the tattoos in Jane's body mean something and each one has a purpose and connection to the series plot. Gero also mentioned that the inked puzzles were not just made up; they consulted puzzle expert David Kwong of "The New York Times" who advised them on how to make sure that each tattoo can be deciphered by fans and viewers.
