Saturday's Global Citizen Festival in New York City was such a wonderful sight with all the celebrities that attended and participated. It was indeed a star-studded festival.
Global Citizen Festival is an annual event in New York City's Central Park. According to E! Online this yearly event is organized in order for ordinary people to get involved in extraordinary causes which included poverty and inequality. The free event was sponsored by H&M.
According to PEOPLE, the said festival was such a big fuzz considering that there are a lot of high-profile celebrities that performed. To start off there's Beyonce, Ed Sheeran, Sting, Coldplay, Pearl Jam and Common. The rest of the big names include Hollywood stars, politicians and philanthropists. Kerry Washington, Katie Holmes and Olivia Wilde shared the stage with First Lady Michelle Obama, Vice President Joe Biden and wife Jill Biden, as well as Bill and Melinda Gates.

1. Beyonce did it again and made the night more memorable with his special duet with Ed Sheeran
Beyonce's performance was the bomb! "I feel so honored to be on the stage," she explained. "So many brilliant, generous people out there. All my Global Citizens."
And the highlight of it was her "Drunk in Love" duet with special guest, Ed Sheeran.
"I want to bring out someone I respect so much, yes; it's time for Ed Sheeran," Bey said in front of 60,000 screaming fans.
2. Michelle Obama gives Beyonce a warm embrace
The First Lady and Queen Bey shared a warm embrace on stage. Michelle described Beyonce as "someone who believes as much as I do in the boundless promise of girls worldwide."
3. Coldplay and Arianna Grande on stage
Coldplay shared the stage with Arianna Grande as they performed "Just A Little Bit of Your Heart."
Arianna was able to sing her heart out with the ballad while Chris Martin was strumming his guitar.
4. Sting and Common together making good music
Sting and Common had a powerful medley of The Police's "Every Breath You Take" and "One World (Not Three)."
5. Mother and Daughter tandem
Katie Holmes and Suri Cruise enjoyed the music festival as well. Katie spoke to the crowd and brought Suri on stage and the adorable nine-year-old gave the crowd a friendly wave.
