Mike Medavoy "Black Swan" Producer Lists $7.9 Million Romantic Bel Air Villa

Producer Mike Medavoy has quite a number of Oscar-winning films under his belt. His latest project however is snagging a buyer for his $7.988 million Bel Air Villa.

Medavoy, co-founder of Orion Pictures, and his wife had bought the romantic villa two years ago for 33 percent less than what they're asking for, reported The Real Estalker, but it's primarily because the couple's expensive and expansive effort to renovate the estate.

The home, located on 638 Siena Way, Los Angeles, Calif., was originally built in 1950 and includes a 5,437-square-foot property on 0.85-acre gated plot. According to listing agent Joyce Rey of Southern Beverly Hills' Coldwell Banker, It includes 4 bedrooms, 5 baths. It offers exquisite high-beamed ceilings, an open kitchen with eat-in breakfast room. Of the rooms, the master suite is also embellished with high ceiling and double bathrooms.

Medavoy's living room has wood floors, a stone fireplace and French doors that lead you to an open veranda and private swimming pool.

The outdoor offers great 180 degree view of the mountains, golf course and nearby city, reported Redfin. The estate is so well-maintained you wouldn't even want to take a ride downtown. There's terraced gardens and bedded pathways along spruced grass lawns. There's also a well-lit sports court and a Japanese garden.

According to The Real Estalker, the Medavoy estate also includes a carpeted den-office space and family room where he stashes his prized movie memorabilia.

Among the notable movies Medavoy produced, ranging from drama to sci-fi among others, include "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest," "Rocky," "The Silence of the Lambs," and "Black Swan."

Prior owners of the stunning home included another high roller producer, Jon Peters who later sold it for $8,200,000 in 2008 to Brindell Roberts Gottlieb, a patroness and wife of the late-real estate developer Milton Gottlieb.
