Paul Walker’s Daughter Meadow Sues Porsche for ‘Fast & Furious’ Actor’s Death

Meadow Walker, the 16-year-old daughter of the late Paul Walker, has filed a lawsuit against Porsche for the wrongful death of her father, claiming that the car was faulty.

Paul Walker and Roger Rodas died in a car crash in November 2013 after attending a charity event. Paul was in the passenger seat of a Porsche Carrera GT and his friend Rodas was driving. Police reports indicated that the car was at the speed of 80 and 93 miles per hour when it collided with an electricity pole and trees, USA Today said. Speeding was the said cause of the accident.

But according to the lawsuit documents TMZ has obtained, they were only at around 63 to 71 mph when the car got out of control, which wouldn't happen if the car had proper stabilization system. The lawsuit also claims that Paul was trapped in the car because the seat belt "snapped Walker's torso back with thousands of pounds of force, thereby breaking his ribs and pelvis." The late actor could have come out alive because the fire didn't broke out for 1 minute and 20 seconds after the crash. And when the fire erupted, the "Fast & Furious" actor was still alive and "breathed soot into his trachea while the Porsche Carrera GT burned."

Meadow's lawyers further claimed that Porsche is well aware of Carrera GT's instability and control issues which could have been corrected with the company's stability management system. The company allegedly decided not to install one in the Carrera GT despite it being a standard in other models.

Attorney Jeff Milam told TMZ, "The bottom line is that the Porsche Carrera GT is a dangerous car. It doesn't belong on the street."

Porsche reportedly has not yet commented on the lawsuit, but Gossip Cop noted that Porsche denied the claims of car defect lawsuit filed by Rodas' family earlier this year.
