Nexus fans are probably very excited right now as the Google event is expected to start in a few hours. It has been reported that the company will be introducing its new phablets, including the "Nexus 5X". Although the phone is yet to be released, there have already been reports about its specs and features all over the net, and so far, this is what we know about the "Google Nexus 5X":

The "Nexus 5X" won't be as over the top as the "iPhone 6S" or the "Galaxy S6 Edge" when it comes to the build, as the "Nexus 5X" is expected to be made of plastic like the previous Nexus models. However, this doesn't seem to be a big issue, because despite the material used, the previous Nexus devices did look good. There might be a protruding camera enclosure at the phone's back and it will definitely a good point of argument for many. Some may like it, some might not. The "Nexus 5X" will be thinner than before with a measurement of 8.6mm and according to sources, the new phone will come in Icy Blue, Charcoal Black, and Quartz White.

The screen will measure 5.2 inches and it will have a FullHD resolution of 1920 x 1080. As to the camera, high expectations has been given to the "Nexus 5X" because it has been set to be developed by LG, so people are hoping for an LG G4 inspiration. What's expected so far is a 13 MP back camera with OIS and dual LED flash.

Specifications of "Nexus 5X" have also been rumored. It was said that the phone will have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 chipset with 2 or 3 GB RAM. It was also said that the "Nexus 5X" will be available in 16 GB and 32 GB variants only, without external microSD slot. But let's wait and see if these rumors are true. If they are, the people must have to settle with 32 GB maximum memory. One good feature of the "Nexus 5X" from LG is its possible fingerprint scanner on the back. Its battery will also be an upgrade from the previous models' 2300mAh to 2700mAh.

"Google Nexus 5X" is expected to carry an Android Marshmallow OS and as to the pricing, it was said that the 16 GB phone will be at around $350, practically the same as its predecessor when it was released. "Nexus 5X" is expected to be launched at Google's September 29 event with a rumored preorder date of October 13.
