"Orange is the New Black" Season 4 will continue to feature Laura Prepon's controversial character Alex Vause. However, there are rumors that fans no longer want to see her on the show.
In Season 3, Alex was attacked and almost killed by a group of people who she believes are connected with the other inmates at Litchfield prison. After surviving the incident, Alex will attempt to find out who was responsible for her attack.
Prepon confirmed her return to the award-winning series via a post on Instagram wherein she was featured wearing her orange uniform.
Meanwhile, according to Movie Pilot, there are thousands of fans from across the world who want to see Alex dead. The publication wrote, "Therefore, I am voting NO to Alex surviving the hitman. She has more than served her purpose on the show. Her only relationship is with Piper, who has outgrown her intellectual world traveling ways."
According to the publication, Prepon's character was only crucial during the first two seasons of "Orange is the New Black" because Piper (Taylor Schilling) still needed her. However, in Season 3, Piper reportedly showed that she can also be wise beyond her years, so Alex could already be axed from the series.
Additionally, the publication noted that Piper and Alex's relationship is already damaged beyond repair. This suggests that even though the series creators decide to reunite them, at one point their relationship will once again fall apart.
In other news, Netflix recently confirmed that their streaming services are now available for download on iPhones, iPads and iPods, according to CNET. The online streaming site released a teaser inviting fans to try out their services. In the clip, Suzanne "Crazy Eyes" Warren and Tasty could be seen playing with an iPhone and its Siri feature.
"Orange is the New Black" Season 4 will premiere on Netflix in June 2016.
