"Nashville" Season 4 will introduce a new female character, and she will reportedly become one of the male characters' love interests.
According to TV Line, "Gilmore Girls" alum Scout Taylor-Compton has been taped to play the role of a tattooed female character. The "east Nashville hipster" named Erin is aged somewhere in her 20s. She's described as a free-spirited sound engineer who doesn't really like to take life very seriously.
Meanwhile, "Nashville" Season 4 will continue to feature a struggling Juliette (Hayden Panettiere). ABC just dropped the official synopsis for Wednesday night's episode titled 'Til The Pain Outwears the Shame."
"Juliette has a breakdown on a daytime talk show, prompting concern from Avery, but then her erratic behavior continues. Elsewhere, Rayna strives to showcase the validity of her label by making a play to sign Marcus Keen, a huge rock artist," the synopsis read.
In other news, fans were extremely pleased to find out that Deacon (Charles Esten) survived his surgery and is now in recovery. During Season 3's finale episode, Deacon and Beverly (Dana Wheeler-Nicholson) both underwent liver transplant. One of their heart monitors flatlined, and fans wondered which one of them has been killed off from the ABC series. In "Can't Let Go," it was revealed that Beverly was the one who died and her brother Deacon survived.
With this, fans are looking forward to seeing more stories in relation to Rayna (Connie Britton) and Deacon's relationship. Fans are also reportedly excited to see more performances from Rayna's two daughters, Maddie (Lenon Stella) and Daphne (Maisy Stella).
Additionally, "Nashville" Season 4 will continue to feature Avery stepping up to taking care of Cadence now that Juliette is still going through a series of emotional breakdowns every now and then.
"Nashville" airs Wednesdays at 10 p.m. ET on ABC.
