'The Flash' Season 2 Premiere, Spoilers, Sneak Peak, Rumors: Cisco Struggles With New Powers, Eddie Thawne a Villain?

The upcoming "The Flash" Season 2 reveals that some casts will acquire new powers and will feature about Cisco's struggle for his new power and how Eddie Thawne will become the main antagonist.

Carlos Valdes' main character, Cisco Ramon, will have new powers and the season will deal on how he will handle them. In an interview, Valdes said that Cisco will have difficulty grasping his status as a meta-human in a revelation by Eobard Thawne/Reverse-Flash (Tom Cavanagh/Matt Letscher), during the show's season 1 finale.

"He has a future, that future is related to him being affected by [the] particle accelerator explosion," Valdes said. "It is very interesting because Cisco is the ultimate fan boy, and he expresses this undying love for the heroes he works and that surrounds him. And now that he is faced with a similar fate he doesn't know how to handle it."

Cisco will feel uncomfortable with seeing "vibrations" from alternate worlds after dreaming about his death at the hands of the Reverse-Flash before Barry reset the timeline in season 1, International Business Times reported.

He will slowly accept his new abilities while Barry Allen/The Flash, played by Grant Gustin, will find it easy to accept and adopt to his new meta-human status, which we have seen in the beginning of the show.

In the series, Cisco is a superhero fan boy who is also a resident tech genius who provide names for the different villains and meta-humans. In the DC Comics, he will become a superhero Vibe with the ability to control vibration both molecular and sonar.

A villain in this season named Zoom will be someone from the group of Barry. According to rumors, Eddie Thawne, played by Rick Cosnett, could be the series version of Zoom because of the notable similarities of both Eddie and Hunter Zolomon. These characters are both policemen and both believed in doing only what is necessary for the right cause in their own way, Fashion&Style reported.

To recall, Eddie killed himself in season 1 finale to stop Reverse-Flash from killing Barry. When his deceased body was sucked into the singularity, it gave him powers.

Meanwhile, roles played by Danielle Panabaker, Candice Patton, and Tom Cavanagh will be exploring new versions of their characters while, John Wesley Shipp is hoping to never step into a super-suit again, Collider reported.

Synopsis of "The Flash" Season 2, entitled "The Man Who Saved Central City," that will premiere on Oct. 7 on the CW Network reads: "Picking up months after the Singularity attacked Central City, Barry (Grant Gustin) is still struggling to forgive himself for Eddie's death. Concerned about putting his friends in danger, Barry has pushed everyone away and has chosen to protect the city on his own. When a meta-human named Atom Smasher (guest star Adam Copeland) attacks the city, Iris (Candice Patton) tells Barry that he needs to let his friends help him protect the citizens of Central City."
