'Samsung Galaxy S7' Release Date, Price, Specifications and Features: Will Launch Sooner With Impressive Specs

The latest "Samsung Galaxy S7" device is rumored to be released sooner than expected. The fast tracking of its release is linked to the slow sales from their recently launched Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge, TechRadar reported.

Samsung is said to shorten their production process by two months, which means that the latest product of the flagship will most probably be out as early as January 2016, SamMobile reported.

With that, the South Korean tech giant implemented the Agile methodology, instead of the Waterfall production technique in order to accommodate the shift in schedule. Said method involves creating the product using simple prototypes and will be built up as the project progresses. Every additional feature of the phone is tested for efficiency and its ease of use. With the Agile technique, the product can be easily changed midway through the process, according to Benzinga.

The new Samsung flagship will be experimenting on a flexible display, and is expected to have a minimum of 4GB RAM. It is also said that it will use a processor, the 64bit Exynos, which is considered as one of the most powerful smartphone processors.

Galaxy S7 is equipped with a 30-megapixel rear camera and a 10-megapixel front camera with increased sharpness and color featuring its latest GigaPixel technology.

One thing that made users more excited about the phone is its waterproof technology, which guards the phone against water and dust. It will also be compatible with 5G network connections and has an enhanced Wi-Fi.

The new Samsung device will also come with the iris scanning technology, which is one step ahead of the fingerprint scanners that is found on most recently launched smart phones.

In terms of pricing, since the Samsung Galaxy S6 is priced at £599, there is a great chance that Galaxy S7 will cost more which could be around £649, PC Advisor reported.
