Larry Hagman’s Beachfront LA Penthouse Condo Sells for $5 Million (PHOTOS)

"Dallas" star, Larry Hagman's beachfront penthouse condo in Santa Monica, Los Angeles, has sold for $5 million to two die-hard fans.

Hagman's waterfront pad sat on the market for just two months, listed for $5.2 million. It has now sold for a little discount. According to TMZ, the buyers were interested in the property even before they discovered who it belonged to. When they came to know it was Hagman's, they were overjoyed. A few "Hagman memorabilia" were left behind, which ended up with the actor's family, much to the disappointment of the buyers.

Apparently, the buyers plan to renovate the whole place and have already contacted builders for remodeling plans.

The beachfront penthouse condo sits atop a 10 story 101 Ocean Avenue building that was originally built in the 1960s. It was renovated in the 1980s. The condo is a 3000 square feet residence and offers unlimited and picturesque ocean views. The home has large floor to ceiling windows and features wooden doors.

According to the photos, the home has a slightly outdated look, which is probably why the buyers want to renovate. The living room is a huge central space with a separate dining area. The residence has a Jacuzzi attached to the master suite. The kitchen is modestly modern as well. The building offers amenities like an infinity pool, large parking spaces, doorman facilities and lounging center.

While Hagman's beach side mansion sold off in a very short span of time, his legendary and plush Ojai estate, nicknamed "heaven," is still sitting unclaimed sporting a price tag of $8.45 million.

The residence is a huge Tuscan style mansion that spreads across an area of 42 acres. The home comprises of 7 bedrooms and 9 bathrooms and 5 huge swimming pools. The house was built in 1991 and Hagman lived there with his wife.

Hagman died on Nov. 23, 2012. He was suffering from throat cancer and died surrounded by loved ones at Medical City Dallas Hospital. His wife, Maj Axelsson is suffering from Alzheimer's and now currently lives with family.
