'Bones' last season saw Booth (David Boreanaz) and Brennan (Emily Deschanel) saying goodbye to the life they knew so that they may set out for something new. Their decision last season to leave their high-stress jobs and to focus on their family has clearly paid off.
But anyone who has updates of 'Bones' Season 11 knows that their peaceful and happy experience is about to be shattered into pieces when the man of the house suddenly and inexplicably goes missing - a crisis that appears to be weighing heavily on Booth's mind as he heads out to work.
According to TV Line, Booth's goodbye to Brennan is tinted with tension and sadness because he knows something bad is going to go down.
The departure of Booth and Brennan in the last season has raised so many questions. What does it mean for them for Season 11, will they return?
Hollywood Life said that on the finale of the last season of Bones, fans saw Booth (David Boreanaz) and Brennan (Emily Deschanel) saying goodbye and setting out for something new. When Bones will return for its 11th Season in the fall, fans need some answers to the questions. Will Booth and Brennan return to the Jeffersonian, and why does the finale looks so definite? Brennan said in the season finale, "Pelant is in the past. I won't have him steal the new life Booth and I are going to live.''
"Everything is up in the air right now, to be honest,'' executive producer Stephen Nathan told TV Line.
"I don't want to say yes or no to anything. It's a big task to work them back and get them resolved again. We don't want to take the easy way out. You don't want to just go back to a well that's running dry," Nathan added.
The last episode could have been an end to the series, and that was something intentional. "The one thing we wouldn't compromise was our relationship with the audience,'' Nathan said.
