Jesse Metcalfe of the "Dallas" and "The Desperate Housewives" fame has reportedly purchased a cozy "love nest" in Hollywood Hills, Los Angeles, along with long-time fiancée, Cara Santana, for around $1.4 million.
According to the listing records, the soap actor closed the deal on the home on February 28. The home was built in 1925 and sports Spanish architecture. It has been carefully renovated to preserve its architectural details and also give it a modern look.
The home is a 2362 square feet residence with five bedrooms and four full and one half bathroom. The kitchen and the bathrooms are completely renovated and the master suite is fitted with a plush modern bath, reports Trulia.
According to the photos, the two story home features hardwood floors and large windows. The home has a large living room with a fireplace, a dining area, a small reading area. The master suite and another bedroom, both with attached bathrooms sit on the upper floor of the home.

Metcalfe recently sold his Beverly Hills bachelor pad at a loss for $1.7 million. He had listed it for around $2.2 million. The Beverly Hills home is a three bedroom and three bathroom space with exquisite features like a built in barbeque, Koi pond and a cascade waterfall, reports Perezhilton.
Apparently, Metcalfe sold the home because he was relocating and busy shooting for "Dallas". Apart from shooting for his serial now, Metcalfe will be involved in some race driving as well.
Recently, The Los Angeles Times reported that Metcalfe will get behind the wheel along with actors Jackson Rathbone and Wanda Skyes and many others to kick off the 39 Annual Toyota Grand Prix at Long Beach. The event is set to be held from April 19-21, 2013 and will be a star-studded event.
