Effects of the award season in Hollywood are still wearing off. In the many award functions, reporters of the Architectural Digest got into conversations with popular celebrities about which room in their glorious designer homes would win the best award.
Here are five celebrity favorite-room revelations:
Anne Hathaway: Hathaway, who won the Oscar in the Best Supporting Actress category for her moving performance in "Les Misérables," said she doesn't deserve an award for her interior designing skills as her home is a "disaster." However, she chirpily adds that her living room in L.A. is pretty decent. Though it is unfinished, she is opting for a minimalistic French modern look.
Kate Bosworth: Bosworth of the "Straw Dogs" and "Superman Returns" fame said that the award would definitely go to her kitchen. She explained that her kitchen was an open and warm fifties ranch-style place and the fact that she loves to cook made the room her favorite. She also added that people always flocked to her kitchen.
John Krasinski: Known for his role as Jim Halpert of NBC's popular sitcom "The Office" had an unusual take on his favorite room, or rather, his favorite area. The tall and handsome actor said that his "pool" was his favorite area in his house. He also went on to add how his house runs on solar power and has a well.
Seth Meyers and Alexi Ashe: Seth Meyers, who currently stars in TV Series "Saturday Night Live," and his equally busy girlfriend Ashe declared their hands down best-room award winner to be their living room. Apparently, their living room is a large spacious area with an open kitchen plan.
Zoe Saldana: The very beautiful "Avatar" poster girl (it's rumored she may have bagged the role of Neytiri for "Avatar 2"), Saldana said her favorite room has to be the sunroom. Apparently, she decorated the room herself and added some exquisite artwork from Frida Kahlo, making it her favorite room of the house.
