Ryan Philippe Unloads Los Angeles Bachelor Pad for $6 Million (PHOTOS)

"The Lincoln Lawyer" star Ryan Philippe has finally managed to sell his bachelor pad in Hollywood Hills West, Los Angeles, for around $6 million.

The actor first listed the home in 2010 with an asking price of $7.4 million.

Philippe purchased the property in 2008, paying around $7.1 million for the home. However, it now looks like the actor has sold at a loss.

According to the listing records at Redfin, the home is a single family residential retreat in the sunset strip neighborhood of Hollywood Hills. Built in 1998, the home is a five bedroom- six full and one half bathroom property, featuring modern architectural style. The home sits on a 0.53 acre lot with grand views of the Canyon and the city.

The house has a large living room, family room and a separate formal dining room as well. Other features include, an art studio, a media room, an office/study, a powder room, an inside laundry, a bar and a sauna too.

Outside, the home has a 60 feet long swimming pool, an outdoor kitchen and a two car parking space. The home offers easy indoor-outdoor access and has ample entertaining spaces.

Philippe purchased the home just after his split with Reese Witherspoon. In an interview with the Telegraph in 2011, the actor said that he bought all his dates to his bachelor pad to avoid the shutterbugs and paparazzi, which are ever-ready to pounce.

"You tend to accelerate the whole process of the relationship because you're forced to have your dates at home," Philippe said in the interview. "You don't want to deal with people - not only paparazzi but people in restaurants with their camera phones."

More recently, the divorced couple, who share custody of their children Deacon and Ava, were spotted watching Deacon play a soccer match. Witherspoon's current husband, Jim Toth, was also there, reports the US Weekly.
