As the summer is almost upon us, celebrities have figured out a new way of minting money through real estate- renting. Just after Leonardo DiCaprio took off his long-listed Malibu beachfront pad from the market and put it up for rent, another celebrity property has hit the rental market. Natasha Gregson Wagner is offering her Malibu home for a monthly rental of $20,000 a month.
Natasha is the daughter of the famed British producer/writer, Richard Gregson and famous actress, Natalie Wood.
According to the Real Estalker, Wagner first purchased the Malibu home in 1996 for just $1.2 million when she was just a teenager. The home is a three bedroom, two bathroom beachfront property and has an open dining and living space plan. The home features wooden floors and beamed ceilings along with wood framed glass slider doors.
A modern dine-in kitchen along with a breakfast area and built in custom cabinetry exists on the property. The place also has a Zen garden and an outdoor dining area. A small office, a nursery and detached staff quarters are some of its other amenities.
Expenses are increasing for Wagner and husband actor Barry Watson, who recently welcomed a baby girl in 2012. Maybe that's why the Malibu home is up for rent!
The couple won the award for "Best Baby Name" as they christened their daughter- "Clover Clementyne Watson."
Julie Ryan Evans at The Stir wrote in her blog:
"I've never met anyone named Clover, and I'm not sure why because it's such a great name. If I was pregnant with a girl, I'd be all over it, which is weird, because I tend to lean toward more traditional, old-fashioned names usually. But this I love, and Clementyne is absolutely the perfect middle name with which to pair it."
