‘Pixel C’- Tablet with a Keyboard: Google’s Answer to 'Microsoft Surface Pro 3' and Apple’s 'Ipad Pro'

Microsoft may have initially introduced the 'Ultrabet Race' to the consumers, but it seems like Google is aiming for its perfection. For a not so techy individual like me, ultrabet simply refers to a tablet attached to a keyboard thus reaching its full potential but still giving some room for portability and convertibility. And that is how one should describe the latest addition to Google's Pixel line, the Pixel C, and 'C' simply stands for convertible. (Click for Image)

Just recently, Google introduced their new tablet with a keyboard dubbed as Pixel C. Pixel C seems to be founded on the idea of easy use. For according to Andrew Bowers, Google's director of product management, he stated via mashable that, "We've been thinking about how to make other form factors easier to use, like tablets." But if you were to look closely, the influence of Microsoft tablet with a keyboard, the Surface Pro 3, and likewise Apple's Ipad Pro with a pencil may perhaps be the main reason why Pixel C was created.

But veering away from its purpose and down to its capacity and functionality, Pixel C is indeed an Ultrabet that is packed with more power. Unlike its predecessors, Pixel is not exclusively run by Chrome OS, for Pixel C can be purchased as an Android tablet with an optional removable keyboard. And since the keyboard is the new thing with this Pixel C, Google boasts that the keyboard of Pixel C is designed "to self-aligning magnets embedded in the Pixel C tablet. The idea is to have the keyboard with you even when you're not using it, prizing utility over size and, obviously, weight," said mashable. But whatever the description Google would use about the new Pixel C, one cannot still stop to compare Pixel C with Microsoft Surface Pro and its keyboard. And perhaps you also had similar reaction upon seeing Apple's Ipad Pro with keyboard.

In the end, despite the emerging new contenders in the Ultrabet battle royal, it would still be up to the consumer on what purpose would he be using his tablet and what is the range of his budget. What do you think about the new Pixel C, are you willing to try Google's new and improved tablet keyboard or not? Feel free to share and comment below.
