Katie Holmes shares in a new interview that she is "open" to having more kids following her much-publicized divorce from Tom Cruise last year.
Holmes looks smoldering hot on the cover of Allure's April issue, showing off some skin as she poses in sexy swimwear. The 34-year-old actress said she hopes that 2013 will be a more "peaceful" year compared to the rollercoaster year she had last year. Holmes has six-year-old daughter Suri with her ex-husband Cruise.
"I don't know. I'm open to it," she told Allure magazine, when asked about becoming a mother again. In the cover image, the Dawson's Creek beauty is seen getting to grips with a rope while wearing a black swimsuit with mesh detailing.
She came back to the public eye when she debuted on a Broadway play "Dead Accounts," which opened to mixed reviews. Its run was eventually cancelled early, but Katie has no regrets.
"I was open to - well, to whoever wanted me," she explained. "But it was always my goal to make it back to the stage."
And while she's looking forward to the possibility of new projects ahead of her, Holmes says she hopes this year is good everyone and not just herself.
"I hope this is a peaceful year for a lot of people in the world," she tells the magazine. "When you look back on the last year, there were a lot of tragedies -- Hurricane Sandy, the Connecticut shooting. I just hope it's a good year for everyone."
Katie Holmes also addressed rumors that she could be set to become a lawyer, and Katie hasn't denied the reports.
